LOOP

The LOOP exhibition brings together multimedia artists from various corners of the globe, addressing selected existential accents. The thematic core is the possibility of civilizational collapse due to self-destructive ways of life.

In the post-factual era, truth becomes a relative concept, and emotions and subjective opinions overshadow factual accuracy. This exhibition is an intimate contribution to the visual interpretation of the phenomenon of truth relativization, ignoring warning signs of impending collapse, and reckless consumerism.

The project offers various forms of creative reflection on the issues of misinformation dissemination and fact manipulation. Inspired by the philosophy of Jan Patočka and his concept of “life in truth”, LOOP seeks through art possible paths to authentic and truthful living. Patočka emphasized the importance of seeking truth and moral responsibility, which are undoubtedly the inspirational core of the exhibition project.
